If you're just getting interested in the culture or the architecture of the period this is a good book for you. If you're looking for more than the basics and maybe a little more meaning and a little less text book, then there are better choices out there.

All photos are black and white, many obtained from internet sharing sites. I don't mind black and white photos, but in many many instances the photos have hardly any contrast and appear as if viewed through a fogged up window. I asked for a refund.

I made the mistake of thinking this was going to be a historical look at the people and history of this enigmatic place. Instead it was a boring description of the measurements and layout of the site. I was definitely disappointed.
