First of all, make up your mind. Are you writing for car tours or hiking? They are completely different experiences, and demand different approaches. Here, they are bundled together, sometimes jumping from one modality to another in the same tour. The table of contents reveals a seemingly random list of arbitrarily assembled routes, with no overall organization by region, length or highlights. It would seem the reader is assumed to be already familiar with all the places named! As for the text, it is dry and often unclear in its extreme economy of description. Likewise for the small maps.A few more photos of landmarks referenced to the text and maps might have saved this enterprise. The single most useful recommendation in it is to buy one of the local hiking guides. They are much more detailed for the area you are interested in. If you are touring by car, get the Insight guide.

Small, easy to travel with. Nice selection of hikes and drives. Could use much more detail on finding trailheads and should have both distance and time, also pricey.
