I was worried about spending $60 for a cookbook since several reviews said many of the ingredients needed were expensive and difficult to find. I don’t know what those people are talking about because the most expensive and difficult to find ingredients are basic keto items like coconut flour and almond flour. All of the ingredients are keto staples that I already have and people will quickly discover those ingredients are necessary basics for living keto. I have purchased a TON of keto cookbooks and this is by FAR the best. If people think the ingredients in this cookbook are expensive and hard to find then this must be their very first keto cookbook! I’d recommend this book to everyone because the recipes are simple, inexpensive, and tasty!
Not only would you have to spend about half of your day cooking , the cost of buying all ingredients is a glaring example of how out of touch the author is with the financial reality most people face every day. Sure each recipe is five ingredients, but there is no consideration for left overs, consistency in ingredient choice,or alternatives to ingredients to save money. After working on way through about 2/3 of the book I found it took me (oh average) an extra 2 hours each day preparing meals or running to the store for obscure ingredients. I also averaged about 150$ extra (on top of what I already spend which was about 200) in two weeks on groceries. This is another fad diet with unrealistic guidelines.
This book is everything I hoped it would be. Easy to follow and tasty. I work full time and have a limited income so expensive ingredients that I’ll use one time are prohibitive. This book has every day ingredients put together in unique ways. I couldn’t be happier.
This book is wonderful!!! So glad they put all the recipes - All in one book. Additionally contains good general information regarding transitioning to Keto lifestyle. Well worth the price. Excellent quality book with kitchen friendly thick pages and full page color pictures of each recipe.
I would say this Keto recipe book is a must have if are doing the Keto lifestyle. The only thing I can say bad about it is the way things are measured are not consistent. In other words, it might list an ingredient in grams, while other ingredients might be listed differently. It just makes it a bit harder to track. I use the Ketodietapp and grams is the default entry for most everything, so I prefer seeing it that way in the ingredient list.So far all the meals are very Delicious and easy to make. There's a photo for each one and that really helps a lot.
I use this book daily. Every single meal I have made had been easy, delicious and quick! Wish they would make another book with more recipes!!! Thank you for this book!
As a new person being on keto and not an expert cook ..... I can follow directions but hate recipes that have 20 ingredients (don't have time or patience) to actually follow through with them. I can print free off internet, then they are scattered on papers, etc. I like the large simple printed recipes, large photos and the way it's organized. To an experience cook that is good at mixing their own ingredients this would be to basic. To someone who wants simple, new to Keto or wants a nice organized book, this is it.
Some good content...but too many extravagant dishes for a regular family. Need good homemade substitutes for old fashioned home cooked recipes.
